Then they were sprinkled with water, kneaded with the hands, mashed and soaked 'in the sun' for about a half day. The yaduci was used as a sieve to remove the berry pulp from the infusion which could be drunk thus or mixed with chia. Water could be drained through the berry pulp a second time.
